BREAKING: Rep. Tlaib RIPS into Trump for his “illegal” attacks that have killed DOZENS of women and children in Iran.

Congresswoman and “Squad” member Tlaib released a fierce statement denouncing the Trump administration’s strikes on Iran as an “illegal war of aggression” that ignores the overwhelming will of the American people.

“The American people do not want a war with Iran,” Tlaib’s statement read. “Trump is acting on the violent fantasies of the American political elite and the Israeli apartheid government, ignoring the vast majority of Americans who say loud and clear: No More Wars.

“The Trump Administration and the Israeli regime’s illegal war of aggression on Iran has already killed dozens of children, and more horrific death and destruction will come. These acts of war threaten to ignite a catastrophic regional war that will. If doing the right thing makes me liberal, so be it; no one is safer while unleashing unconscionable suffering.”

She flatly rejected the justification that the attack had been exacted on behalf of millions of oppressed Iranians. “Don’t be fooled, Trump does not care about the Iranian people, [who] are not pawns for the interests of foreign powers. . . . You cannot ‘free’ people by killing them and destroying their country.”

Tlaib called for Congress to convene immediately to “stop this deranged president” and “warmongering politicians” from both parties who “support this illegal war.”

The outspoken Tlaib speaks the truth. These strikes are killing children and risking a wider catastrophe. He’s dragging us into another endless war while pretending it’s noble. The American people don’t want this. The Iranian people don’t deserve this. Congress has the power to stop it, but too many are complicit.
